The fee card's eligibility for the MA is a bachelor's degree.
The card asks for a bachelor's degree. If your MA subject differs from your graduation subjects, ask whether that subject expects a related background.
Admission is on eligibility — there is no entrance test to sit.
Documents to keep ready
- Class 10 marksheet or certificate, for your date of birth
- Class 12 marksheet and pass certificate
- Graduation marksheets and degree, or a provisional certificate
- Photo identity, such as Aadhaar
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Category certificate, if you apply under one
- Migration or transfer certificate, if the university asks for it

The admission steps, in order

- Pay the opening instalment — ₹9,000 on the semester plan — straight into the university's account.
- Keep the receipt, and wait for the university's confirmation of enrolment.

When admissions run
Subharti's distance admissions usually open twice a year, in January and July cycles. Confirm the last date for the cycle you are aiming at before gathering documents.
Before you hand anything over
Hand in copies unless the university asks to see originals, and get a written acknowledgement if you hand any over.
Pay only into the university's account, against a receipt in its name. On a programme admitted on eligibility there is no seat for anyone to “arrange” — an offer to do that for money is the signal to stop.
