Is direct admission legal in India?
Yes, where the course does not require a statutory entrance examination. Admitting a student on their qualifying marks is how most colleges in India fill seats. It is not legal, and not possible, where a course is filled through mandated counselling — medical admission being the clearest example.
Do you charge students a fee?
No. We are paid by institutions when a student enrols. Course fees are paid by you to the institution directly, against a receipt in the institution’s name. We never handle your fee.
Will a degree from direct admission be worth less?
No. The certificate records the qualification and the awarding body, not how you were admitted. What matters is who awards it and whether that body holds the standing your next step requires.
Can I get direct admission in MBBS?
No. Medical admission in India runs through NEET and the counselling that follows it. Anyone promising an MBBS seat outside that process cannot deliver it, whatever they claim.
What is the difference between a degree and a diploma?
A university awards a degree; an autonomous institute awards its own diploma. A PGDM is a diploma even though it sits at the same level as an MBA — the IIMs awarded PGDMs until 2017. Where a rule names a degree specifically, a diploma may need equivalence to satisfy it.
Is a distance or online degree accepted?
Where the university held UGC-DEB entitlement for that programme and session, it is a degree like any other. Ask for the entitlement letter covering your intake year before you pay.
How long does admission take?
From enquiry to confirmed seat is usually one to three weeks, depending on the course and how quickly documents are produced. Sessions close on fixed dates, so the earlier you start the more choice you have.
What documents will I need?
Typically your 10th and 12th marksheets, graduation marksheets and degree for a postgraduate course, a photo ID, passport photographs, and a transfer or migration certificate. The full list is here.
